PlasticGod / aka Doug M. - The internationally-heralded, LA-based artist known as PlasticGod ("PG" for short) took to drawing the minute he picked up a pen at the age of 2. A graduate of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, his works are owned by an amazing range of international and celebrity collectors, including Bruce Willis, Jamie Foxx, Malcolm McDowell, Seth Green and many others. PG began exhibiting in 2001 and has had over 100 shows in galleries and art-related boutiques. He's been chronicled in magazines such as Italian Vogue and Elle, Sportswear Magazine, Mass Appeal, BPM (on the cover twice!) and in newspapers including the NY Times and the LA Times. His line of over 500 celebrity caricatures - known as "Heads" - have earned him the tag of "The 21st Century Warhol". Not letting success get to his head (sorry), PlasticGod is also involved actively in a number of charitable organizations, including fund-raising for Hurricane Katrina, Tsunami Relief, cancer research, animal rights, human rights, and the US Special Olympic committee.
