In Jeff's words - This band contacted me from my website and liked the work I did for The Accused. “The Masters of Grind”, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, told me to include a priest, a corpse stuffed full of drugs, and kids eating the corpse and the drugs. They liked the pencil rough, so I inked it and did the full color using PhotoShop. The baby in the lower left is making eye contact with the viewer, inviting them into his world.
I liked the end result so much I have used it as the front page of my website for a long time. They decided to put the title of the release on the back, which is always nice for the cover artist, so I did art for the back cover, three nuns with their eyes stitched closed. A review of this album that said it was the “Unholy Grail of brutality and offensiveness”, a 100 songs with a total run time of less that 20 minutes, so it’s fans of bands like these that keep me in business doing cover art.
