THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND/BOB WEIR & RATDOG Special
Collector’s Edition Artwork
Like so may others
here in the U.S., the artist Ioannis has been touched very personally by the
scourge of cancer and so, a few years ago, he decided that he was going to take
an active role by raising money to support research into finding cures for
cancer. Using his unique talents as an artist, and backed by his friends at WYD
Media, he has produced a number of special edition prints that have been
auctioned/sold to collectors world-wide, with the proceeds then donated to the T.J.
Martell Foundation for Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS Research. This year, we at RockPoP
Gallery are proud to be able to work with him to promote his latest print in
this series - a special-edition, autographed print signed by musicians Bob Weir
and all current members of the Allman Brothers Band. As with all his previous
works, 100% of the proceeds from these sales will be donated.
About the print - To
commemorate the 2007 Summer tour of the Allman Brothers Band and Bob Weir &
Ratdog, Ioannis has created an edition of sixty (60) digital fine art prints,
with each image printed using a seven-ink archival process on glossy pearl
paper. Ioannis supervised the printing of each piece individually assuring the
closest reproduction to the actual artwork. Of these prints, only 20 of them
will be framed and sold to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
These prints are professionally matted and framed to archival standards. The
print is under Plexiglas in a black wood frame, measuring approx. 30”w x 40”h
overall (image size is approx. 16”w x 18”h on an 18”w x 24”h finished print).
Each limited edition print is approved and individually
hand-signed and numbered in pen by Ioannis, Bob Weir and Gregg Allman, Butch
Trucks, Derek Trucks, Jaimoe and Warren Haynes of the Allman Brothers Band (see close-up, below).

This special edition will be limited to these sixty pieces
only and not reproduced again. All artwork comes with a certificate of
authenticity from DANGEROUS AGE GRAPHICS and, as 100% of all the proceeds are
going to the TJ Martell Foundation, the buyer will also receive a letter to
that fact from the Foundation for use at tax time. Here’s a wonderful
opportunity to add a fine art print to your collection and, at the same time,
make a charitable contribution to a great cause.
The cost of the framed package is $1500.00 for US and
International customers (not inc. shipping and insurance) Shipping within 2-3
weeks of order.

About the Charity -

Today, the T.J. Martell Foundation is one of the world’s primary funders of
innovative, early stage cancer and AIDS research that leads to practical,
