Beck photographed with Popsicle in New York City in April 2005. His sixth studio album titled Guero was released in March 2005 and debuted at #2 on the record charts. It was also released at the same time in a CD/DVD package and a version for the Sony Playstation with special mixes. An EP was also released with remixes of Guero materials played on 8-bit game machines.
