About the Photographer -
Originally a painter who received a scholarship to the N.Y. School of Visual Arts, Manhattanite Kareem Black has spent the past 7 years behind the camera lens, capturing images for a wide variety of clients including Sony, Warner Brothers and J Records, Verizon, AT&T/Cingular, Pepsi, Budweiser, Samsumg, W Hotels, MTV, Comedy Central and many others. His images have been featured in a host of publications, including GQ, Sports Illustrated, Blender, Vibe, Missbehave, Trace, Mass Appeal and others. You may have also seen Kareem recently shooting on the hit TV series “America’s Next Top Model”, and he’s also gone into directing short films, including 2007’s “Twinja”.
