According to Brian G., this cover was Mr. Costello's idea. Shot in BG's studio in London's SE16, using a 10" x 8" camera to get this effect.

"The Beloved Entertainer's" first album after splitting up (what, again?) with The Attractions, this record touches on all the bases of Mr. Costello's love for all things music and includes the smash hit "Veronica", co-penned by Paul McCartney.
