The Mouse and Kelley team had been working on some fresh new ideas when they created a 36"x36" air-brushed Pegasus they had seen in a book depicting art on exhibit at the 1915 California Expo. When Steve Miller came by the studio looking to have an album cover done and saw the Pegasus, he knew it was perfect for his album which was aptly titled "Book of Dreams".
It went on to win a Grammy® for best album cover art, an honor neither Mouse nor Kelley was included in, as the "art director" for the project took all the credit.
A true hit-warehouse, this album included many of the band's most popular songs, including "Swing Town", "Jungle Love" and the mega-hit "Jet Airliner". | | | |
