In the artist's words - "Jim Morrison had died, and the remaining members of his group decided to put together a memorial album for him...the theme was reincarnation.

The idea for the piece came from borrowed images from the circus, Salvador Dali, Muybridge stop-action photos, and other scraps from my files...'Rolling Stone' gave my artwork a terrible review when the album came out (in 1972).
