Originally released in 2003 on the Varese label, this record includes a deep collection of rare tracks by many of the 60's most-talented psychedelic acts.

Some of these little-heard tracks include music by Nice (with Keith Emerson doing a wild version of "America" from West Side Story); Soft Machine (an unreleased jam on "I Should Have Known"), blues tunes from John Mayall, early Fleetwood Mac and The Moving Sidewalks (ZZ Top's Billy Gibson on guitar), plus nuggets from The 13th Floor Elevators, The Yardbirds, Michael & The Messengers, The Knickerbockers, and many more.

We think that you'll agree that Bob Masse's cover does a great job of depicting the colors and styles of 60's psychedelic cover art.
