In Jeff's words - I did this piece for the Strap-On’s, the second of eventually 4 albums I have created for this band. The first album cover featured my idea of a baby doll, and they wanted me to use it on this one, too.

I knew the title was “$ 4 Whore” when I accepted the job, so I focused on using color and the perspective lines on the buildings to bring the viewer into the piece. The band loved the rough I did for the cover, and it was a fun job.

A lot of my time in commercial art is spent pleasing my customer, so when the band just likes my style and trusts me to do the right thing, it makes the commercial side more bearable.
