RockPoP Gallery is happy to be able to offer you this fantastic Rock Iconz® figure - The Rush "Starman". This is a limited edition collectible, created by KnuckleBonz, standing approximately 9" tall (on his resin display base). Sculpted in resin by a team of skilled artists, then hand-painted in fine detail with hi-gloss silver paint in front of the red/black star to deliver a 3D version of the iconic Rush logo.
This is a limited-edition created by the craftspeople at KnuckleBonz and there are only 3000 available worldwide. Also included is a KnuckleBonz certificate of authenticity.
The figure is officially licensed through Rush and Anthem Entertainment.
KnuckleBonz creates hi-end sculptures that feature the most highly influential artists in rock music. The Rush 'Starman' figure is the first interpretation of album art in the KnuckleBonz Rock Iconz Limited Edition Sculpture series.

The "Starman" logo first appeared on the back cover of the 1976 album 2112. Moving back and forth between prog and hard rock, this recording allowed the band to declare that they can do both REALLY well, and that fans of their musicianship would buy in on the approach. While the label was not looking for another “concept record”, it did “go gold” and ultimately, platinum, making both the band and their label happy and confident that they’d achieved a proper balance..
Hugh Syme, who provided the imagery for many of Rush's albums, indicated that the Starman image was not slated to be an integral part of the band’s identity. As a side note, Syme is also credited for playing the Mellotron on “Tears” and played keyboards on a selection of future Rush tracks.
The image was also integrated into their stage show, as evidenced by the photo used on the cover of their next release, the double-LP live set titled All the World’s a Stage, which hit store shelves in 1976.
