Unframed and unmatted
Mr. Patton's newest project finds him putting together new music ("pop music", as he puts it) through collaborations with a wide range of participants, from Norah Jones to Massive Attack. What makes the effort so unusual is that the collaborations were done via e-mail, FTP and Fedex!
This live performance at Chicago's Vic Theater paired him with openers Dub Trio, who also became part of his stage band along with Roots' percussionist Rahzel and violinist and vocalist Imani Coppola (along with others). The tour continued into the summer, with Peeping Tom pairing up with Gnarls Barkley.
This print is another great example of why Justin is renowned as one of the leaders in the modern rock poster scene and has garnered international attention. His bold line work and sublime color palette mixed with a vivid imagination are unmistakable. |
