Savage was the seventh album recorded by the U.K. pop music duo
Eurythmics, released in 1987 by RCA Records and produced by Dave Stewart.
The platinum-selling record (which peaked at #41 on the
Billboard 200 Album charts) was an impressive studio production, with only Stewart,
Annie Lennox and drummer/Synclavier programmer Olle Romo providing the music. Music
videos (directed by Sophie Muller) were made for every song on the album.
