The album that shot Orange County, CA’s punk/ska band No Doubt into megastar status (selling over 10 million copies in the US alone), 1995’s Tragic Kingdom (and it’s #1 single, “Don’t Speak”, which spent an amazing 16 weeks at the top of Billboard’s “Hot 100 Airplay” chart) served to introduce the band’s unique sound to an audience caught up in the middle of the grunge explosion. Two other singles from the album – “Spiderwebs” and “I’m Just A Girl” – also blistered the charts, and singer Gwen Stefani’s combination of bubbly voice and good looks made their videos a staple on music television.

The record was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1997 for "Best Rock Album" and was listed as #441 in Rolling Stone Magazine’s "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time" in 2003.
