Officially-licensed collectible print with the image reproduced on a silk-like, washable and durable 100% polyester fabric - it won't rip like a paper poster. The quality of the printing is really impressive, and its approx. 30" x 40" size will make it the focal point wherever you hang it up.
Light as a feather, the print can be hung using tape, velcro, tacks, clips, poster hanger sets, etc.. Take a dowel rod and some clips and turn it into a flag (you'll be the center of attention at your home-town parades, no doubt!). Of course, you'll want to bring it to the next concert you attend - just be mindful that others will want to have it for their very own :-)
The recording - which took its name from the lyrics of "He's Gone" - a song not featured in this collection (?) - was compiled from the 1974 4-day stand at Winterland Arena that was featured in the well-received Grateful Dead movie. Why the recording wasn't a good representation of the inspired playing seen in the movie is still a mystery to Dead Heads, who have nick-named the record "Steal Your Money"! The best thing, to most fans, was the great cover art adaptation of the Dead's "skull"-themed image found on many of their other recordings.
A much better-received recording was the live recording called "Europe '72", which featured the artwork of Stanley Mouse. Of course, we offer the cover images from that recording as limited-edition prints, which you can find here, or take a look at our complete offering of GD-related imagery by clicking here. |
