Limited-edition (750) collectible plaque featuring David Anstey's memorable cover artwork for the Moodies' 1967 release on Deram, a 24K gold-plated LP of the same album, and a small information plate featuring reproductions of the band members' signatures. This is an officially-licensed Moody Blues collectable.

Matted and framed in black metal. A small plate includes this item's serial number and add'l information. Measures 16"W x 20"H - approx. 11lbs. shipping weight.

After the success of their 1965 debut album (Go Now!), the reformulated band (Denny Laine departing, later for Paul M's WINGS) teamed up with the London Festival Orchestra to create "something completely different" - a rock album with orchestral accompaniment about one full day in "anyman's" life.

It spawned two Mellotron-infused hits that still are staples on AOR radio and webcasts - "Nights in White Satin" and the beautiful "Tuesday Afternoon". It also included G. Edge's poem "Late Lament" which, I think for many of us boomers, was the first long spoken-word piece we ever memorized.
