"Colossus of Rhodes" is a concept double CD that is based on the Italian master film-maker Sergio Leone's 1960 film "Colossus of Rhodes".

The story is told in six progressive musical epics. The music is performed by four Italian progressive rock bands (Revelation, Mad Crayon, Leviathan, Greenwall), the Swedish band Sinkadus and the Velvet Desperados from Finland. Each band performs a 25-minute progressive suite.

In addition to the music, the package also contains a large-format comic book with illustrations and plot synopsis of the film, song lyrics and a full-color poster by cover artist Paul Whitehead.
