18"h x 22.5"w image size; 22"h x 28"w overall print size
Unmatted/unframed - should be stretched on wood stretchers and then framed, but can also be matted and framed.
According to Paul, "This is a variation on my original theme from Foxtrot. It features the "Mad Man Moon smiling above. It was inspired by the line from 'Supper's Ready' about the Six Saintly Shrouded Men...the Seventh walks in front, with cross held high in hand."
To create this new series of prints, Paul created a number of new images - his interpretations of the band's songs, titles and the stories and characters found in those songs. And so, in addition to his well-known images for Trespass (an archway under which stands 2 veiled characters, with a devil's head draped overhead), Nursery Chryme ("Cynthia" the croquet player) and Foxtrot (the fox in the red dress, still outsmarting the huntsmen nearby), you'll also find images from Selling England By The Pound, Wind & Wuthering, Lamb Lies Down On Broadway, the Charisma Label and others.
Only a limited few (50) will own this special-edition print of the original painting, signed/numbered by Paul Whitehead - shouldn't you be one of them?
