This is Howie’s homage to artist Phyllis Cohen's great
body-painting work that was originally created by in 1997 to promote EMI's
release of Pink Floyd's back catalog of recordings (including Animals, Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You
Were Here and others). Original limited-edition prints by Team Thorgerson of
this image (now out-of-print) have become one of the most sought-after (and
valuable) collectibles in the rock music/art world.
On the original poster, you’ll also find a small
snippet of photographer Vic Singh’s cover photo for the first PF LP, Piper at the Gates of Dawn.
