Grateful Dead "Europe '72" 2-image Silkscreen Print set
In Stock (1)
Limited-edition (100 sets), silkscreened fine art prints, both 17"w x 23"h on heavy Arches ph neutral, acid-free paper.

Artwork by Stanley Mouse at MouseStudios, signed and numbered by the artist.

Unframed - note, this is a set of 2 prints, so you'd either need 2 stock frames, or a custom frame to display both side-by-side (Click here for framing options and costs)

Ice Cream Kid - While at a masquerade party in 1972, when everyone seemed to be on another planet, Mouse and Kelley looked at each other and simultaneously smashed their hands to their foreheads in spastic disbelief. This was the birth of the Ice Cream Kid.

Stanley came up with the drawing the next day and it soon became a beloved image to Deadheads far and wide.

Rainbow Foot - inspired by R. Crumb's "Keep On Truckin'" character, it is intended to be the legs and feet of the infamous Ice Cream Kid trucking across the earth much like the Grateful Dead did when they went to Europe in '72.

It also represented a new consciousness in a time of great upheaval.
